one of our favorite things to do around here is read. i love books. the kids love to read and be read to.

during the planning phase with the builder we reiterated several times the importance of reading nooks and spaces.

a new look

if you havn’t already noticed, i put up the new blog name:

august fields: building a house. creating a home.

i am sooooo excited! we will be breaking ground in august (and my birthday is in august) and we are building on some beautiful fields.

if something is not working correctly (email links, twitter, button etc) please let me know as i did this myself and even though it needed some html i still don’t even know what html is!!! 🙂

Our new street address.

It’s official that we will be building starting next month. This blog may take a bit of a turn as I would love to document the process here!

just wanted to share the sneak peek that our photographer is giving us at her blog. i really want to use one of my husband and me in our bedroom with the ‘all you need is love…’ signs i’m making! these are just a sampling…she took TONS 🙂

i’m so excited for what is to come….we used balloons in a lot of the pictures and does anyone recognize the blue chair??? 🙂 🙂
